Everybody Deserves to Have a Good Time: Have the most fun and exciting party of the year!
Special event just around the corner? Want to set the perfect mood for your party? Give your guests an extra reason to celebrate with these tips to plan a memorable holiday party!

Strike the right note with your invite
Written invites (with a dash of creativity and personalization) are a great idea. Specify the timing and venue to avoid confusion.

What’s a party without a theme?
70’s flashback, disco, Hollywood themes are passé. Plan an ‘Ugly Sweater/Outfit’ theme party or think of wacky themes, which will surely bring in a happy party crowd.

Bring in the outside
Don’t head to the store to buy seasonal decorations. Try raiding your yard and check with your friends for goodies to dress up your home. You could celebrate the natural resources of your area too. Scatter seashells across the table if you’re hosting a beach party, fresh cut wildflowers to dress up the tables or make ice sculptures to deck up your home if you’re hosting a winter party in your home.

Try off-season favorites in the party menu
Thanksgiving does not mean you serve turkey ONLY! Try introducing new starters or drinks, which you know that your guests will enjoy. Better still, you can ask your guests to whip up a drink or a dish and have the get the rest of them to judge it too!

Light right
Lower the lights for a cozy atmosphere and light a few scented candles to lend that attractive glow to your setting, which is a pleasant sight for the guests as well.

Keep the television away!
Consider unplugging your television from the party area. Nothing is worse than a group of guests huddled in front of the television, cackling and spoiling the interaction of the rest of the other guests.

Armed for accidents
Accidents are a part of life. Don’t fret that your expensive display pieces or upholstery would be ruined at the party. Keep a spot remover handy to deal with such incidents.

Carpools or designated drivers
As a responsible host, you need to ensure that your guests reach home safely, after the party! You can do this by encouraging guests to carpool and make them believe that it is a safe and environmental friendly option too!
